i've never cooked asparagus... any beginner tips? :)
ah, it's dead easy: just rinse them off and get rid off the woody stems by bending each spear, it will then snap from its natural breaking point.
boil a big(gish) pot of water, add some salt and your asparagus and cook for few minutes. they are done when a fork pierces the stem easily.
i normally add some melted butter before serving...

Heippa! Pitkästä aikaa kommentoin tänne, vaikka usein luenkin.
Voisinkohan saada Skotlantireissuvinkkejä? Varasin nimittäin juhannukselle lennot Edinburghiin, ja ajattelin ensin mennä Obaniin ja sieltä niille saarille, mitä sen lähistöllä on. Ja sen jälkeen vielä yhdeksi yöksi reissaisin Edinburghiin. Voi olla, että tulee vähän killeri aikataulu, mutta joku kumma pakkomielle päästä niille saarille :D Olen kerran käynyt aikaisemmin Edinburghissa, joten aika monet nähtävyydet olen jo nähnyt. Joten olisko jotain vinkkiä, mitä silloin kannattaisi Edinburghissa nähdä? Jotain, mitä perusturisti ei huomaisi? :)
