2009

in january

i was very busy with college, my old mac died so i had to get a brand spanking new one, we went to dakota for dinner and i was wearing my pink reino shoes a lot

in february
i did my work placement and absolutely loved it, it was a cold month and we got snow as well, i bought a hula hoop and was hooping like a maniac

in march
we went to fortingall and fell in love with the place, i was hooping and daydreaming a lot, it was getting warmer outside and i discovered that jenners had desigual, woo-hoo!

in april

i went rollerblading a lot, started postcrossing, ate lots of easter eggs, spent most of my days off at home doing college work, we went to glasgow and almondell park and i discovered tunnock's tea cakes (big mistake)

in may
i was making paper like crazy, went to london with mr lovable to get a new passport, we drove to fortingall again, i had exhibitions at college and i survived them, we went to the taste festival and i finally got my red converse's

in june
i had my final exhibition and graduated, i basically lived in my converse's, we went to glasgow's west end, i did a parcel swap and got finnish goodies, we tried to decide where to go for a holiday and i started taking photos of our sunday sandwiches

in july

we got a new kitchen rug that kitty loves so, i started tweeting and working long days in the kitchen

in august
i got really fed up with 365 day project but continued taking those damn photos, edinburgh festival started and finished and we managed to get through it without seeing any shows at all, i discovered zara's second floor and onehungrygirl was born

in september
we flew over to mauritius and had the best holiday ever, snorkeling and cycling every day and eating way too much, back in scotland we went to melrose and visited robert smail's printing works, i bought my first wooden type

in october

henry the goldfish died, i enjoyed the sunny autumn days and got lost in quilt making

in november

we went to new york for five days, carved pumpkins, i had the most exciting job interview ever, got new fish for the fish tank, innocent smoothies had wee woolly hats on and i bought ugg boots

in december

we celebrated our birthdays, had hyacinths all over the flat, jumped on the plane again and went to london and paris, it started snowing in edinburgh, i made a gingerbread house, we built a giant snowman, had a peaceful, warm christmas and a quiet hogmanay

looking back now, all i can think is that what a fun year it was!
