saying goodbye to 2008

will be quiet in this household. clean house, heating on, lots of candles, homemade burgers, raspberry cheesecake and champagne, walk towards the city centre at some point, lots of kisses and cuddles, enjoying and appreciating life's little things. counting our blessings. knowing that neither of us has to get up early tomorrow morning. i can't think of anywhere else i'd rather be.

holidays

working on christmas day and finishing early, many trips to the gym and good workouts, long walks, cold frosty days and sunshine, lovely meals, going to the sales, watching crap tv and falling asleep on the sofa, good night sleeps, kitty the cats first ever christmas stocking and new toys, taking many many photos,


parcels in the mail and lots of unexpected gifts,


hanging christmas cards on the wall, burning candles, making lists of the best things from this year, making plans for next year, counting our blessings and realising how lucky we are.
it sure has been lovely, having all this time off.

huonoja päiviä

melkein kolme kokonaista päivää tuli vietettyä sisällä, peitoista rakensin pesän ja siellä ryvin ihanassa itsesäälissä. välillä nousin maalaamaan eteisen seinää, ihmettelemään ulkona myrskyävää talvisäätä ja ihastelemaan jouluvaloja. istuksin koneella ja käveleksin ympäri hämärää asuntoa mamin lähettämät villasukat jalassa, vanha harmaa villatakki päällä tallustin huoneesta toiseen kissan seuratessa minua ihmetellen.


niin kovasti halusin olla erakkona, etten koulunkaan päässyt eilen.
aina ei ole helppoa olla minä, ei siis ihme jos joskus vituttaa. ei aina eikä koko ajan, mutta silloin kun, niin sitten kunnolla.
ihmettelen vaan, että mikä tarkoitus näillä päivillä on?


onneksi on koti johon on hyvä tulla ja jossa on hyvä olla. on koulu, työpaikka, kissa ja rakastavia ihmisiä, ihan tässä lähellä ja vähän kauempanakin.
onneksi on tieto siitä, että ei niin hyvien päivien jälkeen tulee aina parempia.

also i would like to be healthy, do well at college and work hard, have lots of energy and motivation, be a good girlfriend, friend, cat owner, daughter and little sister. and i wish that everybody that i love and care about are happy, healthy, safe and warm. thank you santa, that's all for now.

it was such a cold cold cold day and night with temperature dropping to -4, brr-r. when we woke up this morning it had gotten even better, the wiev from our bedroom window magically transformed into this...


we have got snow and i'm loving loving loving it!
